Kristin M. Johnson Holevas is an Associate Attorney at Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman, LLC. Kristin concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and nursing home abuse and neglect. As a member of the Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman team for two years prior to joining the firm as an associate, Kristin gained a passion for helping clients after a catastrophic injury. Kristin prides herself on approaching every client’s case with the dedication, care, and tenacity she would extend to her nearest and dearest friends and family.
Kristin graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she was a merit scholarship recipient and on the Dean’s List. While in law school, Kristin took part in Loyola’s Mediation Practicum, participating in the Center for Conflict Resolution’s forty-hour mediation training course. Through the Practicum and CCR, she conducted mediations for litigants involved in small claims matters at the Richard J. Daley Center. In addition to her involvement with the Practicum, Kristin served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Thomas V. Lyons, II in the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Kristin, a triplet, grew up in a small, rural town in central Illinois. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Kristin is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois. Kristin is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
