Jack S. Rubin is an Associate Attorney at Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman, LLC. Jack is a passionate advocate who thrives on competition and excels in high-stress situations both in and out of the courtroom.

Jack was licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois in 2019. Since that time he has been named as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2022, 2023 and 2024. This distinction is reserved for the top 2.5% of lawyers who are under 40 years old or who are still in their first 10 years of practice.

Prior to joining Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman, Jack spent three years at a two-attorney boutique personal injury firm in the Chicago suburbs where his work primarily focused on obtaining justice for victims of nursing home abuse and neglect. Jack also has experience handling motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, police misconduct, sexual assault, wrongful death and medical malpractice cases.

Before attending law school, Jack graduated from the University of South Carolina-Upstate where he was the goalkeeper on the soccer team. He then attended DePaul University College of Law where he served as the Business Manager of the Law Review. Jack graduated in the top 10% of his class with the distinctions of Magna Cum Laude and Order of the Coif. Additionally, Jack received the “CALI Excellence for the Future Award” for having the highest grade in five of his classes during law school: Civil Procedure I, Legal Drafting-Civil Litigation, Advanced Trial Advocacy, Pre-Trial Civil Litigation Strategies, and Business Organizations. During his final year of law school, Jack was also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Mock Trial team that competed in Washington, D.C.

Outside of the courtroom, Jack enjoys going to concerts, playing soccer, golfing and spending time with his friends and family.
