William “Billy” Parrish is a Trial Attorney at Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman, LLC. Billy focuses his practice on personal injury cases involving: car accidents, ride-share accidents, trucking accidents, pedestrian accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, and animal bites/attacks.
Billy comes to Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman, LLC with a background in insurance defense after working in litigation for a prominent Illinois defense firm. There, Billy represented insurance carriers in coverage issues of all nature as well as insured parties named as defendants in third-party auto litigation.
Prior to his law career, Billy spent eight years with a nationally recognized insurance company handling a number of different complex injury claims and coverage issues. While there, he won several awards for his experienced claim handling and customer service. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in all areas of insurance to our team and clients.
From his time defending cases and analyzing injury settlements, Billy has gained a unique and well-rounded knowledge of how to maximize results for his clients. His background has instilled a customer-centric approach and he focuses on keeping the client fully informed and educated from the beginning to end of the litigation process.
Billy is a former Division I athlete and was a four-year starter for the Eastern Illinois University basketball program. Billy is from the western suburbs with strong ties to the Chicagoland area. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and taking in any event involving Chicago sports.
