Haig Himidian is a Partner at Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman. He practices personal injury law in a variety of areas related to bodily injuries, including cases involving automobile accidents, bicycle crashes, slip/trip and falls, negligent security, defective products, and more. Beyond demonstrating himself as a skilled trial attorney, securing millions of dollars for his clients through settlements and verdicts, Haig is head of the firm’s intake and new files department. He oversees a team of intake specialists dedicated to providing a quick response to case inquiries as well as the means for establishing new attorney/client relationships. Haig’s investigations into new case files have produced vital evidence in the crucial early stages of a case which have translated into millions of dollars in successful cases upon their resolution.
Haig graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, now part of Western Michigan University, in 2013. Haig was on the Dean’s List as one of the highest achieving students in his class and rose to the top of his class in Trial Advocacy. Prior to working at TPMB, Haig was an associate attorney at Bekkerman Law Offices working alongside founding partner Gerald Bekkerman on catastrophic injury cases. Haig has also worked in the area of mass torts dealing with wage and hour disputes, as well as employment discrimination matters.
Haig works tirelessly to get the results his clients deserve. He stops at nothing to ensure that once a new client is signed with the firm, their case has a solid foundation of evidence and support to maximize a client’s net recovery. Haig never loses sight of the fact that injuries happen quickly and can potentially change a person’s life forever. His goal is always to put his clients on an even playing field against billion-dollar corporations who take pride in taking advantage of people in their most vulnerable conditions. Haig prides himself on achieving results that meet and exceed his clients’ expectations efficiently and with meticulous attention to detail.
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Haig earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from California State University, Northridge. He remains active in professional associations, including the American Association for Justice and the Armenian Bar Association. He is also a former Chapter President of a Chicago BNI (Business Networking International) group where he made valuable, long-standing relationships with business owners and networkers from diverse business backgrounds.
In the rare occasion when Haig is not working, he enjoys nothing more than family time with his wife and two daughters, taking his dogs to the park, trying new recipes, and following all types of motorsports from around the world.
