Jared M. Duke is an associate attorney at Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman, where he specializes in representing injured victims in various areas of negligence cases. Jared dedicates his practice to advocating for individuals and families in all areas of personal injury, including automobile and truck collisions, construction negligence, premises liability, and work injuries. Jared brings an enthusiasm and passion for his job and for his clients to the job every day. Jared is a zealous advocate for those hurt by the negligence of others and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure his injured clients are not being taken advantage of by corporations and insurance companies.
Prior to joining Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman, Jared was an associate attorney working with founding partner Gerald Bekkerman practicing exclusively in the field of personal injury law. Prior to that, Jared worked primarily as a civil litigation attorney for small businesses and in the area of creditors’ rights throughout Illinois. Jared has always fought for and defended the little guy and those who have been taken advantage of. With that motivation, throughout his career, he has acquired hundreds of thousands of dollars for his clients through settlements and trials. He has also advised and guided numerous business owners through the formation and expansion of their companies.
Jared attended Chicago-Kent College of Law on a scholarship and was named to the Dean’s List. During that time, he worked at the Center for Open Government, helping to ensure transparency, accountability, and responsibility in local and state government. Prior to law school, Jared attended the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, where he majored in political science. Jared is an active member in the legal community. He has been a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
