Joshua Arenson is a trial attorney at Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman, LLC and specializes his practice in representing Plaintiffs in personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle and trucking accidents, pedestrian accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, and wrongful death cases. Prior to joining Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman, LLC, Josh worked at a prominent Chicago insurance defense firm where he practiced commercial litigation and defended a variety of insurance providers against personal injury cases. He has successfully litigated cases in both state and federal courts across Illinois and is experienced in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit claim negotiations to discovery and motion practice and through trial. With his unique and strategic perspective on personal injury litigation, Josh has the knowledge and experience to understand how insurers evaluate, negotiate, and litigate claims – an advantage he now leverages to advocate aggressively for those who have been wrongfully injured.
Josh earned his J.D. from UIC John Marshall, where he developed a strong foundation in civil litigation. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Whether in settlement negotiations or at trial, Josh remains committed to holding negligent parties accountable and securing the maximum compensation clients deserve.
Outside of the office and courtroom, Josh is a passionate golfer and can often be found on the golf course when he’s not advocating for clients. He also cherishes time spent with friends and family, whether it’s a quiet weekend gathering or cheering on his favorite teams – the Chicago Bears and Indiana University Hoosiers.
