Patricia A. Hudson (“Trish”) is an Associate Attorney at Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman, LLC.
Born and raised in the West Englewood community on Chicago’s south side and still a lifelong Southsider, Trish takes pride in her community, identity, and advocates every day to ensure that her clients’ voices and experience are not only heard but recognized.
Trish has had many successes for her clients through mediation, arbitrations, trial and settlement negotiations. She has recovered millions over the course of her career for her clients. Trish graduated from Curie Metropolitan High School, a Chicago Public High School, and continued her education at DePaul University, where she studied Sociology with a concentration in Crime, Law & Criminology and double minored in Political Science and Women & Gender Studies. She attended DePaul University College of Law, where she focused her studies in litigation and was a member of the Mock Trial Team.
Trish is an active charter member of the Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. She also serves as one of the chairs for the Young Lawyers Division of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. In her free time, she’s in the gym, training for an upcoming race, playing one of the six instruments, or hanging out with family and friends.

- $18,500,000.00 settlement for 31-year-old woman who suffered compound comminuted fractures to the humerus, radius/ulna, multiple hemipelvis crush injuries, a T1-T2 transverse process fracture, pubic rami fractures, and several other grievous injuries. She underwent multiple surgeries and was hospitalized for several months after suffering a head on collision with the at-fault vehicle who crossed the center lane of traffic. (Cook County)
- $950,000.00 for 47-year-old client woman was leaving a restaurant when she slipped and fell on a substance in an area of the restaurant that was being cleaned. The woman injured her neck and back undergoing a C4-C5 anterior cervical discectomy and fusion and L4-L5 and L5-S1 fusion. A lawsuit was filed alleging that the restaurant created and/or allowed the condition on the premises and failed to warn. Liability and damages were contested.
- $800,000.00 for 40-year-old woman underwent a Brazilian butt lift procedure (“BBL”). Allegedly, deft injected two liters of fat per buttock, which put increased pressure on the surrounding tissue, cut off their blood supply, and caused the tissue to become necrotic and die, and caused very serious infections. The woman required multiple gluteal debridement procedures, which left her with significant scar tissue in the area of the sciatic nerve. She underwent spinal cord stimulator surgery for low back pain caused by irritation of her sciatic nerve due to scar tissue. (Cook County)
- $500,000.00 policy limit settlement for 26-year-old former #1 ranked amateur suffered a career ending back injury after being hit by a car while retrieving his gym bag from the back seat driver’s side of his vehicle. He sustained an annular tear at L5-S1 and some irregularity of the nucleus pulposus of L5-S1 and L4-5. At the time of the incident, he was signed with Don King Productions. (Cook County)
- $500,0000.00 settlement for 37-year-old woman who was shot in the leg by the security guard hired to protect the discount store where she was the assistant manager. The security guard was out on bond for carjacking, robbery and unlawful restraint. Th bullet remains in her leg but she was able to return to normal activities. (Cook County)
- $375,000.000 settlement for the estate of an 80-year-old woman who fell and fractured her hip while getting into a cab from her nursing home to attend an outside appointment. She

- $215,000.00 settlement for the estate of an 86-year-old woman who developed a sacral pressure injury under the care of a Chicagoland nursing home. The wound continued to deteriorate, became infected, requiring multiple surgical debridements nut remained present until her passing. (Cook County).
- $200,000.00 settlement for a 27-year-old woman who suffered multiple toe fractures when an outdoor patio table tipped over and fell on her foot. - $195,000.00 for a 19-year-old woman who suffered a right ankle fracture after allegedly being pushed by a fraternity chapter president at a Thirsty Thursday party held by the fraternity. She underwent surgery and physical therapy for her injuries. (DeKalb County)
- $150,000.00 settlement for a 26-year-old woman who was allegedly struck in the head by her boxing fitness class instructor during a class demonstration. She suffered concussion and post-concussive symptoms as a result of the multiple hits. (Cook County)
