Joseph Lloyd

Joseph M. Lloyd is a trial attorney at Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman. Joe specializes in personal injury claims of all types, including, car accidents, medical malpractice, Nursing Home Care Act, automobile negligence, and slip/trip and falls. Joe has successfully taken cases to trial across Illinois, including, Cook, DuPage and Jackson Counties. Prior to joining Taxman, Pollock, Murray & Bekkerman Joe practiced as a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney at another prominent PI firm in Chicago where he obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. Prior to that, Joe represented insurance companies, defending high profile and catastrophic injury claims – giving him a unique perspective in prosecuting claims on behalf of injured parties. Joe is a passionate advocate and takes personal interest in seeking justice for his clients.

Joe received his Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois, Champaign – Urbana.

Joe lives in Chicago with his wife, son and their dog. Outside of the office Joe enjoys spending time with his family at parks and markets across the city and rooting on his alma mater in football and basketball.

  • $375,000 for a Nursing Home Care Act claim on behalf of a family who’s deceased husband and father suffered chronic knee wounds resulting in infection and the need for debridement procedures.
  • $275,000 for a Nursing Home Care Act claim on behalf of a sibling whose brother was left unattended while using the bathroom causing the resident to fall and suffer neurologic injury.
  • $275,000 for a low-speed accident (less than 5 mph) where the plaintiff was rear ended by a water tanker truck causing chronic headaches.
